About

A Hay Yard in Parker County

We sell alfalfa, coastal and feed cubes out of Millsap. That’s the whole business, and we’d rather do those few things properly than carry a little of everything.

What We Do

Buy It Right, Keep It Dry, Sell It Straight

Alfalfa comes in from out west, where the growing conditions put protein in it that Texas summers don’t. Coastal comes from closer to home. Cubes come in bagged, on pallets and in totes.

What we can control is what happens once it’s here. It goes under a roof, up off the ground, and it stays there until you load it.

How We Sell

However Much You Need

By the bale or the bag

Two squares in a truck bed is a fine order. Nobody gets treated like a small customer for buying small.

By the pallet or tote

Forty bags to a pallet, a ton even. Totes come full or half. Cheaper per pound and one trip instead of four.

By the semi load

Feed stores and big outfits. Priced for the load, quoted the day you call, because freight moves.

Straight Answers

What You See Is What You Load

If the coastal rounds are horse quality we say so. If something is better suited to cows than horses we say that too. If we can’t get what you’re after we’ll tell you rather than sell you the next thing over.

Prices are printed and the same for everybody. When freight moves them, they move for everybody.

Before the Bale

It Starts in the Field

Cut, raked into a windrow and left to cure before anything gets baled. Do that part wrong and no amount of storage fixes it.
